Latvian magazine Ir created a Twitter account written by local birds by covering the keys of an outdoor keyboard with unsalted fat, and using the birds’ pecking to generate 100 tweets a day to the @hungry_birds account.

A textual analysis of more than 500 million Twitter messages found people around the world tend to express more positive emotions in the morning and evening, and are more positive on the weekends. The recurring daily pattern suggests that moods are influenced by sleep and circadian rhythms. This is out by sociologists at Cornell and published in the newsjournal Science.
